There is something that has been on my mind for a while, now.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

A lot of people know that scripture.  Do they realize what it means?  Jesus knew ahead of time how He was to die and what He would die for.  In verse 14, when He was talking to Nicodemus, He told how He would die.  He did it any way.  I have heard many times about people who think that they are living in a ‘good’ manner.  They do not understand that living ‘good’ is not the answer.  This scripture talks about that item.

John 3:17-18  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;  but that the world through Him might be saved.  He that believeth on Him is not condemned:  but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Those are some pretty heavy words.  They should be taken to heart.
