Welcome back!
Many people use faith and do not even realize it. When they reach out to a light switch and flip it, they have the faith that it will work, even if they do not understand the physics of electricity. I have used lights, outlets, lamps, fans, and only have a bare essential knowledge of how electricity works. Think how much more this world would be blessed if believers could understand a little more about faith.
Hebrews chapter 11 is many times called the faith Hall of Fame. The word faith is mentioned 24 times in just that one chapter of the Bible. A roll call of faithful people is mentioned and some of the things that happened to those who truly believed, good things and bad things.
How do you use your faith? Do you have faith in that light switch? How about the telephone or the car ignition? Believing in something that cannot be seen or felt is faith. I would rather have faith in a loving God and His wonderful Son, than in the supposed justice system of our ocuntry. Of course its justice system is better than in some other places in the world, but God and His ways is much better.
Romans 3:23-25, 29, 31
Romans 5: 1-2
Romans 8:38-39
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Yes, God IS faithful. I would rather trust in His faith, than in what the world trusts.
