Welcome back!

There are a lot of bandwagons out in the world.  Do you have your wagon hitched to some one else’s wagon?  Do you really want to go where their wagon is going?

It might not seem like it but, when you hitch your ‘wagon’ to some one else’s, you have chosen their final destination as your own destination, too.  Not all destinations will match what you finally want.  I used to think that I wanted the same goals for my life as some other people had, but I finally realized that what they had in mind didn’t match what I really wanted.  Not all destinations are obvious when you first check out what is going on.  Only by testing and watching some can you determine whether it is what you want for yourself.  I like the ideals of freedom, choice, and opinions.  I have learned to be careful with those things however.  Freedom is not really free.  It has to be paid for in some way or another.  Choice is great, but it too has a cost.  Opinions…..everybody has one.  Opinions are just that, they are not fact.

Fact - sooner or later people die.  Fact - not making a choice is indeed a choice of its own.  Fact - not all opinions should be broadcast for the world and its brother to hear.

That said, I love Jesus and have decided to follow His goals - fact.  I am not perfect and have chosen to try to let God guide me - fact.  In my opinion hell is not the place that I want to go - fact.

What are your choices?  What are your goals?  What do you want to happen when you die?   These are things that are worth thinking about.
