Welcome back!
Many people know of the song Amazing Grace. What is not generally known is that it was written by a man who had once been a slave trader. That was a disgusting profession that resulted in a lot of sorrow and sadness. That such a person can be changed and turned around does speak for the Grace that is shown by God for human beings.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.
Many people know this scripture quotation, too. Little attention is paid to some following scriptures though.
John 3:17-18 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Too many people reject Jesus without understanding what he came to do for them. He is not a man to put people down. Everywhere He went He brought grace. Grace for healing, not only of the body, but healing of the mind and the spirit.
If you are bothered by some things going on in your life, there is one person that you can turn to who will not put you down, but rather try to help. Some people do not believe in things that cannot be seen. They are missing out on a great blessing in their lives.
Turning to Jesus does not mean that you are weak. It means that you understand that help is available. Accepting help means that you are strong enough to let others help. Strong enough to let others into your life. Please do not rejct Jesus, He would not reject you. He says:
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Can it be made any more clear? He wants to help. Please let Him.
