I have all types of family. My first family was just my mom, grand parents, and my uncles. After I grew and became an adult, my family included someone I call my sister. We met, decided that we liked each other, and we adopted each other. No paper work either.

Now she is in the hospital with a blood clot in her leg. I am not worried for I know that Daddy God is in charge. We have prayed about it and He is in charge. The Bible says - the fervent effective prayer of a righteous man availeth much. This is fact.

Some might say that we are weak for believing in God and praying. How can that be weak, to believe in and act in faith concerning something that cannot be seen? Hebrews chapter 11 talks about faith. Verse 1 says -Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Weak minded people need to see evidence of things in order to believe. We are stronger because we believe even though we do not see. Air cannot be seen yet, if we do not have air, we die. Air is what forms tornadoes, yet we have seen the damage that tornadoes can do. Just because something cannot be seen, does not mean that it doesn’t exist. Believing in God, trusting in His Word, makes a person stronger. The best way to get to know God is to read the bible. Become a part of the Family of God. When you start to read, ask Him to help you understand. It is nice to have family, not just blood family as the world sees it, but family by the blood of Jesus. His love unites people is ways wonderful to behold.
