I also have some prayer requests to start off the new year:  Dieulene Chandler Charles lives in Port-o-prince, Haiti. She contacted a member of our church and asked for prayer for her and her little sister.  She said that her parents are dead, we know not if they died because of the disasters that have happened, either way they need prayer.

Today at church we had a blessed day.  We had our meal, and then had service.  During the service we had a great message preached about forgiveness and love.  We also had a lot of singing including a new singer who played the guitar beautifully.

After we had a gift exchange with a lot of laughter, giggling, smiles and more fun.

I hope that you are blessed to have wonderful times also with friends, family, and others.

I would like to give thanks to the Lord for what He is doing for us.  We are alive, we have shelter, we have food, we have Jesus.  That is a lot to give thanks for.  Our Thanksgiving day was wonderful.  We spent it with family, talked a lot, and had a wonderful time.
